Specifically Designed for Yamaha Kodiak 700 (2016 - Present)
Upgrade your Yamaha Kodiak 700 4x4 with PERFEX™ Heavy Duty Aluminum Skid Plates, crafted from robust 3/16" aluminum to withstand severe off-road conditions. This specialized kit ensures complete protection of the footwell and floorboard areas from rocks, debris, and trail impacts. Given the current state of OEM footwells, which are not as durable as in the past and prone to breaking easily, our skid plates become an essential investment.
Engineered to fit all models from 2016 onwards, including the Special Editions, our skid plates provide the ultimate protection for your ATV, safeguarding your ride on the toughest trails.
Flawless Integration with OEM Skid Plate
Our footwell skid plates are specifically engineered for seamless compatibility with the Yamaha Kodiak 700's original plastic skid plate. This design ensures enhanced protection while maintaining the ATV's design integrity, combining superior safety with aesthetic preservation.
Note: Compatibility with the GYTR aluminum skid plate requires slight modifications to the right footwell plate. Trimming is necessary to ensure a proper fit when these skid plates are used with the Yamaha aluminum skid plate.

4 stars due to fitment, easy install but when tightend they push the plastics up to a point that almost separates the foot boards from the side plastics. Some spacers where the bolts go took care of the issue.
Store owner replied:
I 100% understand what you’re describing here, Bryce. We’ll look at adding spacers to the kit to prevent the plastics from being pulled in when everything is tightened down. I just need to find some time to get a Grizzly/Kodiak back here at the shop so I can take a closer look. Thanks again for taking the time to leave us another review. We really appreciate good feedback, but feedback like this is just as important — it helps us improve our products. A+

Merci Caroline pour le 5 étoiles!
This is my third purchase purchase from Perfex. Started out with just floorboards for my Grizzly and was so impressed with fit and finish that I ordered and installed the skid plates and A arm guards to complete the set. I then purchased just the skid plates and A arm guards for my Kodiak as this is my "work" machine that rarely sees the trails. Once again the fit and finish are second to none. Thanks for making such a good product.
Store owner replied:
Yoiu are awesome Brian!!! Thank you so much for the feedback, and for sure, your business and support! Have fun with the Kodiak. Happy Holliday to you and the family. Cheers!
Installed my new footwell plates today. Installation was quick and easy. The plates seems solid and should really help with sticks that come flying for the footwell.

Can’t truly give a rating. Was a gift. But can assure you the individual thoroughly resources anything and everything. So it must be good.
Store owner replied:
Thank you so much Linda for the 5-stars, I appreciate it. Great gift idea ehe.
Although I have not had a chance to install them yet I am very impressed with the guards. Hardware seems to be high quality and the guards themselves are very precisely cut and thicker than I thought they would be. I am sure they will do a good job defending the footwells

Floorboard plates are very nice quality and shaped well!
Hardware should have came with 8 of the larger flat washers instead of 4 of them and 4 smaller ones..
When tightening them down there is flexing of the floor board plastic. The plate does not sit perfectly flush on the mounting surfaces underneath the floorboard but does seem to tighten down evenly and plenty sturdy. Definitely going to help protect the weak stock plastic!
