Didn’t fit. I would have to cut a notch out for the hitch. Even then, it’s not wide enough to get both rear mounting screws in.
It was easy enough to install in my driveway with a few tools and and a floor Jack. Gave me extra clearance without adjusting the suspension or a harsh ride from the extra preload.

I’d really like to understand what’s going on with your setup. Did you have any other lift kit or suspension modifications installed at the same time as our long travel kit? I’d be happy to take a look and see if we can figure out what’s causing the issue with the universal joint.
Easy bolt on lift kit, very noticable difference from factory stance. Will definatley make a difference in clearance. Easy to follow instructions.

I was really surprised at the quality of these units, very heavy duty, excellent fit. The a-arm guards were easy to install and had good instructions and hardware, the floor board protectors....not so much. The instructions could have been better, you really have to figure it out yourself. Plus there was some flange nuts that were the wrong size, I had 2 ea M8's (which there is no use for) instead of two M6's. A minor issue, but I did have to stop and go to the hardware store in order to finish. All nit picking aside, these are great protectors and highly recommended.

I purchased the wrong lift kit to fit my sxs and was immediately contacted by Perfex. They realized the error that I had made and corrected the order for me. I've owed many ATV's and SXS's over a lot of years and put some type of extra skid plate protection on most of them. I've tried many different brands of aftermarket as well as lots of factory add on skid plates. None to date have come close to the quality and fit of my new Perfex full skid plate kit for my 2026 Can Am Outlander 700XT. Installation went very good except I wasn't brave enough to stand the quad on end as I'm over 65 years old. If you made the complete kit for my new Can Am HD11, I would put it on it too. The factory plastic one is not even close to your aluminum ones. Everyone that has seen my new skid plates are very impressed.

Lift did not fit on a 2002 trx500fa2 and it says that it does fit. The front bracket is too shallow to fit on the old shock mount and it says to remove a 6mm bolt to mount the new shock mount but the bolt is bigger that a 6mm so now i have to drill the holes bigger and grind the inside of the bracket to maybe make it work

We’ve sold a lot of these kits over the years without this issue, but you’re not the first customer to run into it. The quality is unbelievable! I'm very pleased with the construction and how well it fit. Each plate section comes with detailed instructions with pictures, and after installation I experienced no rattle at all. This is a well-made kit with well thought out instructions. The hardware is of high quality and I had zero issues during installation. If you are debating, just buy it. It's one of the nicest skid plate kits I've ever seen. I chose to used truck bed liner on mine. I was going to powder coat but it's cost prohibitive where I am and if it gets damaged I don't want to have to pull things to repair. Truck bed liner I can just touch up from time to time. This was an incredible amount of work, check AI because if you do not follow the steps it will not bond to aluminum. The most challenging piece of this installation is getting your quad vertical. I've included a picture on how I did mine but AI screwed up some of it. Three 2x4 s spanning 4 truss is what I used. I just wrapped a chain around a snatch block, over the header and ran my winch through the block and back to the quad. I cut some PVC and put it around my bumper so the winch cable would not damage the quad. Cap off your radiator overflow or you will get some spillage over time. Put on a safety ratchet strap and you're good to go. If your winch has a cabled remote it's much easier and safer to use the remote then reaching on the quad while you're lifting it. I'd say with a competent friend and an organized space this can be done in 1 to 2 hours

Love the design and craftmanship but when it arrived it was definitely a lot smaller than I expected. If you have really small hands or child size hands it would probably make more sense. I'll make it work but just wish it was bigger.

I bought the 2in lift kit for my 25 CForce 800 started with insulation on the rear first which went effortlessly. The front brackets not so much. The brackets must have been made on a Friday afternoon because the bottom holes weren’t even close. I had to drill them out to get the bolt to fit through as it would only line up on one side. It is now installed but not the quality I expected.

We had a few front brackets from this production batch with the same issue, and I’m personally making sure we pay extra attention to this on the next batch we’re bending. The front bracket design is very tight, so even a small deviation can make a big difference during installation. My apologies again for the trouble and extra work this caused you.
